BodyOS

Plan first, log second.

An operating system for your body. It plans the week's food, runs your training, watches sleep and recovery — then turns all of it into one honest read on what to do today.

Your body is an operating system. Fuel it, train it, recover it, tune it.

BodyOS provides planning recommendations, not medical advice.

How it works

01

Set your targets

Height, weight, goal and daily schedule. BodyOS derives calories, protein, fiber, water and sleep targets — and never changes them without asking.

02

Get the week planned

A full week of meals with macros balanced, the grocery list and prep session that make it happen, and training that fills your gaps.

03

Follow, log, adjust

Confirm what you ate, run the session, log the night. The 7-day trend — not one bad day — drives what the app suggests next.

Five loops, one system

Most people run a food app, a lifting app, a sleep tracker and a spreadsheet, and none of them talk. BodyOS runs all four loops on one record — which is the only reason the fifth one can exist.

01Food

The week shows up already planned

No empty diary. A full week of meals lands with macros balanced, the shopping consolidated, and the cooking broken down far enough that a beginner can follow it.

  • Generated weekly menus inside your calorie, protein and fiber windows — you approve or swap before anything activates
  • Recipes that name equipment, burner levels, times, internal temperatures and doneness cues
  • Guided cooking mode: one step at a time, big buttons, built-in timers, screen stays awake
  • One department-sorted grocery list with pantry stock subtracted, then a sequenced Sunday prep session
02Log

Logging that takes a tap, not a confession

Planned meals log in one tap. Everything else — restaurants, dessert, a handful of something — has a fast path that never grades you for using it.

  • Barcode scan and USDA food-database search, with packaged servings logged as exact and generic foods as estimated
  • Quick-add with honest confidence levels: exact, estimated, or rough
  • Water, supplements and 18 tracked vitamins and minerals on the same screen
  • After an unplanned food you get remaining calories, remaining protein, and options — no shame, no penalty
03Train

Training the app can actually see

Sessions run live on the phone and land as data: volume per muscle, strain per day, progression per lift — plus the cardio and sports that most lifting apps drop on the floor.

  • A 1,200+ exercise library with form demos, equipment filters and per-muscle contributions
  • Live session HUD with timers, set logging, suggestions and a full-screen focus mode
  • Muscle coverage heatmap and a balance radar over a rolling 7-day window, so gaps are visible before they're injuries
  • Cardio that keeps running while you use the rest of the app, 20+ sports, rep goals, and injury tracking that filters risky suggestions
04Sleep & body

Recovery and the body underneath the scale

The scale is one slow, noisy signal. BodyOS reads it against sleep, tape measurements and photos so a flat week during recomposition reads as progress, not failure.

  • Sleep logging with debt trend, consistency streak and a bedtime recommendation built from the day's strain
  • Weight judged by its 7-day moving average — the headline number everywhere
  • Tape sites and optional progress photos, cross-referenced with the weight trend
  • A weight-free 0–100 health composite: sleep, produce, protein, training balance and movement
05Today & stats

One read on what to do today

Everything above lands on a single per-day record, and the engine reads across all of it — nutrition, hydration, sleep, training, recovery, injuries — instead of five apps each with a different opinion.

  • A daily readiness score with its components shown, and risk flags that stack real stressors
  • Cross-domain patterns stated descriptively, with sample sizes and never a causal claim
  • A prioritized action list where every “why” cites your own numbers, and nothing applies itself
  • Weekly review, day-by-day scores, observed TDEE and a target suggestion that waits for your approval
The BodyOS training briefing: a front and back body map with under-trained muscles lit in cyan, above a list of muscles that still need work this week.

Train · Today's briefing

Your whole body, on one grid

BodyOS tracks 37 individual muscles and lights the ones you have under-trained this week — front and back, redrawn after every set you log. A gap becomes something you see on a Wednesday instead of something you feel in six months.

  • A sector lights up below 40% of its rolling weekly target, and brighter means colder
  • Primary and secondary work counted separately, from each exercise's own muscle map
  • Three reads on the same body: what needs work, what you've covered, where the strain went
  • Session suggestions come from the cold sectors — and skip anything an active injury makes risky
The BodyOS log screen: a voice assistant orb above shortcuts for scanning a barcode, searching foods, and photographing a plate.

Log · Fastest way in

Three ways in, none of them a lecture

Scan it, search it, or photograph it — and when it's easier to just say it out loud, tell the assistant. Every path lands in the same place: a number carrying its own confidence, and no opinion about your character.

  • Barcode scan — packaged servings log as exact, verified against the product's own barcode
  • Database search — generic foods log as per-100g estimates with a serving multiplier
  • Snap your plate — macros read straight off the photo, every item previewed before it lands
  • Or talk: “midnight pizza” becomes a logged meal you confirm or cancel, never one that just appears

Micronutrients

Vitamins and minerals tracked from real food data, not guessed.

Published weights — logging, calories, protein, fiber, produce, water, checklist, weigh-in.

Weight, sleep debt and muscle coverage are all judged over a week, never a day.

Scores you can audit

Nothing in BodyOS is a black box. Every score shows its inputs and their weights, missing data is excluded instead of counted as zero, and no number is stated at all until there's enough of it to mean something.

Rules the app won't break

These aren't a tone of voice. They're enforced in the code and covered by tests, because a system that guilt-trips you is one you stop opening.

Food is data, never failure

No clean or dirty labels, no punishment workouts. A cookie is 420 calories and a protein plan for the rest of the day.

Nothing changes without your approval

Target adjustments, generated menus and AI suggestions all arrive as proposals. You confirm, or they don't happen.

Burned calories are not permission to eat

Wearable estimates add context to timing and fueling. They never become a food budget, and low recovery never triggers a calorie cut.

Trends beat single days

The 7-day average is the headline number, targets don't move in your first two weeks, and one hard day never rewrites the plan.

Estimates admit they're estimates

Every logged number carries its confidence. Correlations state their sample size and stay descriptive — never causal.

Cooking is taught, not assumed

No unexplained terminology, ever. Chicken is always 165°F, and every step says what it should look like when it's right.

Connects to the rest of your stack

BodyOS works standalone — integrations add context, they never take control. Each one is opt-in from Settings; connected services spells out exactly what each reads, what it never does, and how to turn it off.

WHOOP

Read-only recovery, sleep and strain. Tokens are encrypted server-side and never reach the browser; disconnecting deletes them.

USDA & Open Food Facts

The food database behind search and barcode scanning, plus the supplement label catalog.

AI assistant

Tell it what you ate, or photograph the plate. Every record-changing suggestion is a preview card with confirm and cancel.

Recipe import

Paste a URL and BodyOS reads its published structured data — with attribution kept and quantities never invented.

Grocery services

Export the consolidated list to Walmart, Instacart, Kroger or Amazon Fresh with per-item search links.

Apple Music

A playback dock inside live training sessions, so the workout screen doesn't have to be left.

Phone first

Built for one hand at the counter, in the kitchen and under a barbell — then installable to your home screen as an app.

Notifications that respect the day

Weigh-in, pre-meal, protein check, evening log, bedtime close and the weekend planning cadence. Every one toggleable, every time editable.

Your data stays yours

Row-level security on every user-owned table, encrypted integration tokens, and sharing limited to opaque links you create and can revoke.
